I'd Like to Give

To launch Life on Sunday will require significant investment. Donations from Christians have provided seed capital to develop ‘dummy’ newspapers and carry out market research. This has given us confidence that the God-given vision for this sort of newspaper is right and we should raise funds for the launch later in 2004 of Life on Sunday.

Several options were considered – a private limited company with shareholder funds, a plc with public shareholder funds, a registered charity with charitable donations, a partnership with partner funds, and an association with member subscriptions. Professional advice and a requirement that we maintain ownership have resulted in the establishment of THE LIFE ASSOCIATION. The Life Association Board will raise the necessary funding through subscriptions and LIFE NEWSPAPERS LIMITED, a private limited company wholly owned by The Life Association, will produce and distribute Life on Sunday as a trading company. We expect to be self financing within two years and from that point on, profits generated from the publication of the newspaper will be used to fund worthy projects at home and abroad.

We are now seeking individuals, churches and organisations, who share this vision for Christians to be involved in the news media, to join The Life Association as subscribers. To become life members of The Association (subject to membership conditions) with a vote on resolutions will require a minimum of £1000 one-off subscription. We also welcome donations of lesser amounts which will help fund the development and launch of Life on Sunday.
